Education in the US is fucked and I’m honestly getting tired of it. I hate the holier-than-thou attitudes university employees, especially admissions counselors, have. I’m going to be 200k in debt within the next 4 years, and you expect me to be sucking your dick all at the same time? I don’t think so.
I keep reading about all the different positive aspects of going to school in European and East Asian countries, such as no tuition costs, easier admission requirements, and a very involved academic lifestyle, and it frustrates me to the point that I’m practically pulling hairs out of my eyebrows. I shouldn’t have to be paying back the cost of my education 10 to 20 years after graduating.
Fuck America man. I am genuinely stupefied that people think this is the best country in the world when it’s so far from it. A powerful society is an educated society.
